Kit Includes

1) Roam Marine Monitor Hub
The primary hub includes ambient temperature, humidity sensors along with sea state monitoring and a backup battery. All sensors connect to the bottom of the device and can be custom configured to meet your specific needs.
2) LTE-M Cellular Antenna
3) Secondary Battery or Pump Sensor x2
Wire these sensors into your second battery bank or bilge pumps for continual status. If you are connecting to your bilge pump we often recommend connecting to the manual bilge pump switch and the 6' wire is often more than enough. If you feel you will need more wire then order the 18' version for extended connection flexibility.
4) High Water Float Switch
Our high water float switch is custom built to provide a normally closed signal to our hub. Unlike many other float switch alarms this allows us to alarm if there is a problem with the wire to increase confidence in a high water event alarm. The float switch comes with a 15' wire.
5) Main Battery Supply Sensor
The main battery supply cable is 6' and is typically connected to your house batteries either at the battery or on a main bus bar in the electrical panel. The Roam Monitor both monitors battery voltage and uses this connection for it's primary power source.
6) GPS Antenna
Our GPS antenna comes with a 10' cable to allow for easy installation. The GPS antenna can be installed inside a fiberglass boat but should be kept away from metal and installed with the sticky side facing earth.
7) Mounting Brackets
Two mounting brackets and associated screws are included for quick mounting of the product.

So far good impression on the simplicity of function, ease of install, and reliability. Have only had it installed for a long weekend trip so far. The app does seem to lag indefinitely sometimes when trying to load, though a close and reopen has so far resolved it each time. I have a pretty old iPhone so who knows maybe it’s me. The affordability of this as a standalone cellular system is the greatest draw for us. Peace of mind at an affordable price.
I recently purchased this unit for my new (to me) Sea Ray, and I couldn’t be happier! When the unit first arrived, the button was damaged, but the customer support team was fantastic—I sent a few pictures, and within days, they had a replacement on the way.
The installation was straightforward, with the only challenge being finding a good path for the cables. Now that it’s been up and running for a few weeks, I can confidently say it works as advertised. I was so impressed that I just ordered a few more add-ons to expand my system and gain even more visibility while away.
Highly recommend—great product, great support, and peace of mind!
I got my Roam monitor a few weeks ago, and it gives a huge amount of peace of mind when you have a boat in a marina that is two hours away. I don't have it permanently installed yet, but it is easy to wire up and the app and website are excellent.
Don't worry when the monitor lights on the box go out after a few minutes. I was afraid the device had crashed, but the lights are designed to go out to keep your cabin dark at night, and you can turn them on again with the button on the top.
The device is reasonably priced to purchase, and the monitoring service is really inexpensive at $60 per year.
I'm super happy!
When exploring an island it's been really nice to be able to check on the boats systems and anchor position! Especially like that an email is sent when any of the alarms has been triggered. Recently left the boat for a couple days in a new anchorage while flying out and I can't tell you how nice it was to check up on the boat from a distance ! Easy installation too!
I installed this unit a week ago. I got sick with the flu and was not able to go check the boat. It was such a relief to open the app and see actual temperature and whether high water alarm was tripped or not. Winter Temps here were in the teens. I could see my boat was a 47 degrees. So I knew my heat was working. This also saves me gas by not having to drive to the boat every day.
